What your import sends.

Subscription processing

Your WordPress site sends the source you submit, its timezone, date context, site identity and an authentication token to CalendarDrop. CalendarDrop sends the source and extraction instructions to Google’s Gemini API. The result returns to WordPress as event details for draft creation. Submit only material you are entitled to process.

CalendarDrop does not browse unrelated pages or read other posts on your site through this connection. It does not collect your own AI provider key for subscription processing.

Records kept by CalendarDrop

The service stores your account email, connected site address, hashed access tokens, subscription identifiers, usage, payment status and import outcome records. It stores extracted event results temporarily so an interrupted import can be retried. It does not store the raw submitted image, PDF or text in its service database. Your WordPress site can retain uploads, drafts, source details and import logs under its own settings.

Completed result contents are eligible for removal after 30 days. Results awaiting delivery confirmation remain until the import is resolved. Usage and billing records remain separate from result contents. Production retention and backup periods must be finalized before launch; do not treat this draft as a deletion guarantee.

Other providers

Polar handles checkout, payment methods, subscriptions and your CalendarDrop connection license. CalendarDrop sends your account email and customer identity to Polar when starting checkout or opening billing, and validates your license and connected site with Polar. CalendarDrop stores license identifiers, a hash of the key and verified payment status, not the original license key or card numbers. An email delivery provider handles sign-in links and service notices. Production hosting and email providers will be named here before the paid service opens.

Google’s handling of API data depends on its applicable service terms and account tier. See the Gemini API terms and Polar’s privacy policy. This service does not promise that third-party providers keep no records.

Using your own key

If you choose the free own-provider-key mode, requests use the provider configured in WordPress. CalendarDrop subscription processing is not required. The WordPress plugin stores the key in your site’s database, so your hosting access and backups matter.

Cookies and questions

The service uses a session cookie for sign-in. The candidate pages contain no advertising or third-party analytics scripts. Email josh@pennerstrategy.com for data questions or an account-deletion request. Do not include passwords, API keys or confidential source documents.
